Saved by the Bell

Lame Deer, Montana

On assignment for the University of Montana's Native News Project, Hazel researched for, recorded, and photographed Saved by the Bell.

In March 2021, Lame Deer High School (LDH) returned to in-person learning. This story explores LDH, their pandemic story, and how CARES Act monies received by the Northern Cheyenne tribe helped the community in its education efforts.
